Much of Clare's work touches on issues relating to waste and the environment. Looking for subjects that tell a story about the time or place in which she lives, it is not her intention to portray a picture of dirty urban sprawl but to portray a true reflection on a disposable society. The result is a body of work that is informed by both natural and man-made situations and the human mark put upon them.
